Recent News and Upcoming Matches
  • The team now stands at 4-8. We went 2-1 this past Saturday against Mon Don, Central, and South. The South match came down to the last bout, being tied 31-31 going into it. We would have really liked that win, but it is still a dramatic improvement from last years loss by the score of 50-18. Next season, a loss to South is not acceptable. In a bout of note against Central, they bumped up District Champ Vin Cosenzo to 119 to wrestle Luis Franceschi, only to have Luis make quick work of him by pinning him in the second period.
  • This week will be a challenging one with 2 shore ranked teams. Brick is on Wednesday and Southern on Saturday. Not only is this an opportunity for the team to get noticed, but also for individuals to improve their district seating with wins over quality wrestlers from good teams.
