News about North's Junior Varsity Team.
The JV team has had a great start this year with a winning record in dual meets. Also, we had 7 individual champions at the Matawan Tournament. The champs were Dan Diaz, Bill Carolan, Sergio Pulido, Ralph Florio, Ryan Bellezza, Matt Ward and Mike Carbone. Mike Foy also took a 2nd and Anthony Morano a 3rd. At the Central tournament, we also had a champion in Matt Ward and a 2nd in Dan Diaz. Some of the JV wrestlers improved so much in the early part of the season that they have moved up to the varsity level.

  Always Improving.

The team now stands at 5-4 with it's most impressive win against TR East. This was the first time in a long time that North has beaten East on any level. Congratulations go out to them on there 45-33 win. More recently, the team defeated a Lakewood JV team, made up of mostly Varsity wrestlers, by an impressive score of 51-0. It is the first time we have shut out a team on any level in memory.
